XAVI WAS TRIBUTED IN THE MEETING OF BASAURI (30-05-10)

On the 30th of May, Xavi was tributed in the XII international meeting of Basauri, and from now on the masculine length jump will be named like our athlete.

The XII international meeting of Basauri has been organized by the association of retailers, in collaboration with the council, the BBK and other public  and private institutions. 220 athletes participated and 150 of them had some kind of handicap.

Our athlete, Xavier Porras, was tributed for his career and from now on, the masculine length jump will be named as Xavi. He follows in Rosal ía's footsteps who got the same tribute two years ago.

Xavi said he was feeling very glad and happy for the tribute, and he was grateful to the organization and to Javi Conde who dedicated this tribute. He also thanked for the unconditional support given year by year by the audience in the stadium. His best result was 5,70m and that's what Xavi regrets, not getting a better result.
